The Serengeti is at its most active during the early morning, so we’ll set off on a sunrise game drive to witness predators returning from their hunts and herbivores beginning their day. After breakfast back at the campsite, we’ll continue our exploration of the park. In the Seronera region, your chances of spotting big cats like lions, leopards, and cheetahs are incredibly high, often in dramatic proximity to prey animals like zebras and wildebeests. After a picnic lunch in the heart of the Serengeti, we’ll make our way toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. As we ascend to the crater rim, the landscape transforms into a lush green haven, offering awe-inspiring views of the collapsed volcano below. Tonight, you’ll stay at the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite, perched right on the crater’s edge. Your final day is nothing short of extraordinary. After an early breakfast, we’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the "Eighth Wonder of the World." This natural amphitheater is home to an astonishing concentration of wildlife, and within just a few hours, you may have the chance to see all of the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. As we navigate the crater floor, you’ll also encounter warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and an incredible array of bird species. We’ll pause for a picnic lunch in the crater, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery, before beginning our journey back to Arusha in the early afternoon.
